Strip Photos
The Strip Photos are photographs that depict vertical streams of color based on images culled from the city. The photographs are of specific places, identified in the titles, used to create new pictorial spaces. Through distortion and cropping the images' original pictorial structures dissolve to reveal strips of color. Essences of the city are revealed, color chords are created.
