Lost in Translation
The Lost in Translation project is a suite photographs in which text is juxtaposed with images of buildings and landmarks from around Berlin. The images are interpreted through the Google Translate app; "read", translated, and words inserted. The project resonates with the Dadaists' works, aesthetically and in objective. The text in the photographs challenges one’s interpretation of the buildings and their histories.
