Border Watch

Border Watch is a series of photographs depicting the U.S./Mexico border. The photographs were taken by webcams that lined the border, provided by an online crowdsourced border surveillance initiative. The idea was that anyone in the U.S. (or the world) could log on to these cameras, help watch the border, and report suspicious activities to the U.S. Border Patrol. The aim of Border Watch is to depict the border region between the U.S. and Mexico in unsensational landscape images that suggest the limits of surveillance in this area.
