PROTEST POSTERS
The Protest Posters were created in anticipation of the Women's March on Washington, the day after the United States presidential inauguration, January 21, 2017. They are free and available as PDFs to download and print. The posters are 11 X 17 inches but can be enlarged to other formats.
The design is loosely based on posters used at the 1963 March on Washington. The phrases in the posters are inspired by lyrics from the song "I'm Gon' Stand," sung by Sweet Honey in the Rock, written by Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon.
Although the posters were created with the Women's March on Washington in mind their use in concurrent marches in other cities and subsequent marches or protests is welcome.
